The Marriage of Samantha Yee and David He
The College was absolutely delighted to share in the excitement of 2 former students, Samantha and David, who married at the Holy Trinity Church Brompton in central London at 3.00pm on 3 May 2012.
The wedding was attended by several CTC staff and many former students, Samantha and David both started CTC in September 2003 initially taking GCSE courses. Rumour has it that they met at the bus stop as the location of their host families meant they had to take the same bus to College. An initial strong friendship at CTC clearly blossomed over the years into something more and the two were clearly a well suited, happy and devoted couple.
Both students served on the Student Committee contributing their ideas and energy into many successful and innovative events. Samantha left in June 2006 originally to study medicine at UCL and then Chemistry and David left a year later in June 2007 to study and pursue a career in Finance, completing his Master’s degree and recently securing a position in London as a stock broker. Samantha is also working in London in Marketing. They are both committed Christians and give much of their free of their time to helping in their local church, Samantha with the Sunday school and David as part of the meeting and welcoming team for new people to their Church.
Rarely has CTC witnessed such a happy and memorable day. We all wish them every future success and happiness.
