CTC is delighted to announce Peter in Year 1 of Maths study has achieved ‘Distinction’ on BMO2, which means he was in the top 25% of entrants for this challenging exam. All the students taking BMO2 around the country (and further afield) are outstanding, given that they are chosen from the highest achievers on BMO1 or Senior Kangaroo.

Peter deserves much credit, as do Mr Coombes and Mr Scarratt, who provided a great deal of enthusiasm and rigorous training in their extension classes. CTC is very encouraged by a strong Year 1 Maths group as it boasts a number of gifted students – although Peter was the only one in that year group to take BMO2.
