The government is monitoring Coronavirus and taking action at home and abroad. The risk to individuals in the UK remains low.

The College is following the advice from Public Health England, Foreign and Commonwealth Office, the WHO as well as specific guidance from the Boarding Schools Association.

The situation is still changing and the College, like most other schools, has established a special team tasked with preparing for and reacting to, issues caused by the spread of COVID 19.

Our previous letters on this will be reached from this page and the College will continue to issue weekly updates for the time being. We are continuing to restrict travel at half term and reviewing the situation for the Easter vacation. We are not permitting visitors from the affected areas to College or the Boarding House. Our latest letters give more details.

In the interim we are preparing to keep our community safe here as well and have measures in place to promote high standards of hygiene.

Encouraging good hygiene

As always, if you have symptoms of a cold or flu, then there are measures you can take to stop germs:

    • ·always carry tissues with you and use them to catch your cough or sneeze. Then bin the tissue, and wash your hands, or use a sanitiser gel.
    • ·wash your hands often with soap and water, especially after using public transport. Use a sanitiser gel if soap and water are not available.
    • ·avoid touching your eyes, nose and mouth with unwashed hands.
    • ·avoid close contact with people who are unwell.

Thank you all for your support and understanding at this difficult time.
