Young Enterprise is a national scheme in the UK for A Level students who are interested in Business. The programme aims to create a real-world experience of entrepreneurship by tasking students with the job of creating and running a business, generating a profit and competing with other local teams for the coveted prize of Company of the year.
Products made and sold by Young Enterprise companies can range from jewellery to scented candles to ‘digital apps’. Cambridge Tutors College has a very long-standing and proud tradition of participation in Young Enterprise and many of our teams have had success at the Croydon area finals.
This year, one of our teams made it through to the South London finals. Team member Iuliia Promskaia said ‘Young Enterprise has been an amazing experience for me and I’ve learnt so much about running a business.”
